Man detained following a disturbance in Wick

POLICE were alerted to reports of a disturbance in Battery Street in Wick around 15:50hrs today, in which a 19 year-old man received a stab wound to his leg. The man was taken to Caithness General Hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.
A 17 year-old man was taken into police custody at 19:30hrs in connection with the incident.A report will be made to the Procurator Fiscal.
