    Blue bin content policy

The new areas for Blue Bins in the last month have brought to my attention there usage and a policy issue.

In our area we see many visitors (especially in the summer) so our self (kerbside) recycling policy needs to be robust to work with visitors.

But our blue bins don't accept some recyclables (the type that brought it to my attention was glass). I have several holiday cottages with which I share bins (both refuse and recycling) and already I see bottles in our bin carefully placed there by holiday cottage visitors who were probably trying to be good.

The blue bins won't work at all if the content policy is confusing for temporary residents
