    Mountain Rescue - Ben Nevis

    About 1230 hours, Monday 19th April 2026, a report was received at Fort William Police Station regarding a male who had fallen when climbing in Point 5 Gully, Ben Nevis.

    A number of Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team and RAF personnel attended. The male was located and airlifted to safety.

    The male was thereafter conveyed to the Belford Hospital , Fort William for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

    Details of persons rescued are not being released to press.
