Road Report - 0630 Hrs 29/11/10

The Northern Constabulary Force area continues to be affected by snow and low temperatures. The following roads are closed due to snow ;

B9007 Carrbridge to Ferness

A836 Lairg to Tongue

A837 Helmsdale to Melvich

A837 Rosehall to Ledmore

A894 Skiag to Newton

A897 Kinbrace to Melvich

A935 Bridge of Brown - Grantown

All other roads across the Highlands and Islands remain open at this time but are affected by snow and ice.

Drivers should continue to exercise extreme care and check weather/road conditions before setting off.
