Remains of Man Found - Near Morvich

At 12.20pm, today (Sun 10th Oct), members of Kintail Mountain Rescue Team discovered the body of a male on Beinn Fhada, near the Bealach an Sgairne, about 4 miles from Morvich. Stornoway Coastguard helicopter assisted the team to remove the remains from the mountain.
The dead man has not yet been identified. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
In a separate incident – About 4.40pm today, Skye Mountain Rescue Team and Stornoway Coastguard were alerted to a man who became stuck whilst descending Kings Cave Chimney on the Cuillin Ridge, Isle of Skye. The climber was assisted to the ground, uninjured. No personal details will be released.
