Police appealing for witnesses following assault on teenager in city centre - Inverness

Police in Inverness are appealing to the public for information following an unprovoked assault on a 13-year-old boy in the city centre.

The incident happened between 1800 and 1830 on Tuesday 26 October 2024 in Millburn Road at Farm and Household Goods Store.

The teenager was walking out of town when he was assaulted by two males, aged approx 20 years old.

The first suspect is described as being 5ft 8, of chubby build, with short brown hair and was wearing a green jacket and jeans. The second male is described as being 5ft 8, of slim build, with long dark hair and was wearing a blue fleece hoody and tracksuit bottoms.

The teenaged victim was not injured, but was shaken by the incident which was unprovoked. Both males fled in the direction of city centre after incident.
