Northern Constabulary Roads Report - 1215 hrs 26/11/10

The Northern Constabulary Force area continues to be affected by snow and low temperatures with the higher, exposed routes more affected. All roads remain open but it is continuing to snow. Present conditions on some routes are described as follows;

A939 Grantown on Spey to Tomintoul - NOT ADVISED

A835 at Corrishalloch - badly affected by snow, unnecessary journeys not advised

Roads in Caithness and Sutherland are open with the main routes described as slushy and slippery, minor roads are passable with care.

No roads are affected in the Lochaber area.

Drivers should continue to exercise extreme care and check weather/road conditions before setting off.
