Thefts from cars in Inverness

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of valuables from two cars in Inverness on the night of Wednesday 4 August or early hours of Thursday 5 August.

Golf clubs and other itmes were stolen from a car, parked outside the Bell Tower on Huntly Street between 20:15hrs Wednesday 4 August and 09:20 Thursday 5 August. The golf bag is a Cleveland make, red and white in colour.

A second car was broken into on Greig Street between 20:00hrs on 4 August and 09:00hrs on 5 August. A briefcase and several remote control cars and aircraft were stolen from the car.

If anyone has any information regarding either of these thefts, they should contact the police on 0845 600 5703 or speak to any police officer, or call Crimestoppers annonomously on 0800 555 111.

Police advise motorists to avoid leaving any valuables in their vehicles.
