Council urges locals to have their say on the future of Inverness

Issued: 17 Jun 2024

People with an interest in the future of Inverness are being invited to attend a free event being held at the Ironworks, Academy Street, Inverness on Monday 21 June 2024 from 7pm - 9pm.

'Inverness Today and Tomorrow' is the title of a workshop being organised by The Highland Council to allow locals to voice their thoughts on the Inverness City Vision.

The Highland Council has been working with Architecture and Design Scotland to create a new City Vision for Inverness. After the success of the City Vision Workshop Events held in January the Council has organised a follow up event.

The aim of the event is to help planners create a vision rooted in the ideas, aspirations and real life experiences of local people creating an Inverness that everyone is proud of. The event is open to everyone and no background knowledge of the previous work is needed.

Tickets are free and are available from the Ironworks Box Office (0871 7894173) and by contacting Lynn Bell, The Highland Council, Planning and Development Service tel: 01463 702262.
