Vehicle Fire - Cromarty

Police are currently investigating an unexplained fire incident which was discovered about 0600 hours today (Saturday 30 December 2024) when a member of the public saw flames coming from a Ford Transit van which had been parked and secured at Townlands Park, Cromarty.

The Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the blaze but the vehicle was extensively damaged and the contents, including tools, destroyed.

Further heat and fire damage was caused to a wheelie bin and garden fence as a result of the the van blaze.
