Update - Missing Person - Alness

    Issued: 21 Jul 2025

Northern Constabulary are increasingly concerned for the welfare of vulnerable missing man, Peter Jackson, from the Alness area of Ross-Shire.

Peter (67) is described as 5' 2" in height, of slim build, with dark but greying hair and bushy eyebrows and speaks with a soft London accent. He was last seen wearing a red checked shirt with a beige, knitted jumper over the the top, brown trousers and black, lace-up shoes.

Peter was last seen in the Teananich area of Alness yesterday (20 July 2025) at 13:00 hours but it is thought that he may have moved into either the wider Ross-Shire or Inverness area.

Police would strongly urge that anyone who has seen a man matching this description, even if out with the stated areas, to contact their nearest Police station or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
