Roads advice - Badenoch and Strathspey

The 2025 Harley Davidson rally "Thunder in the Glens" is taking place this weekend (27 to 29 August 2025) in the Badenoch area.
In particular there is a 'mass rideout' of over 1000 Harley Davidson motorbikes on Saturday 28 August. The bikes will be travelling from Aviemore, along the A95 to Dulnain Bridge and via the Lochindorb road to Grantown on Spey.
This will cause traffic disruption in the Aviemore and Grantown areas, with road closures in both towns from 12 noon.
Motorists are asked to be aware that there will be motorbikes using many of the roads in the Badenoch area over the weekend.
