Road Traffic Collision - A858 Carloway Isle of Lewis

About 5.30pm on 18th August 2025, a two vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A858 public road between Carloway and Tolstachaolais, Isle of Lewis.
Two occupants were airlifted by helicopter to the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway. Their injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
