Request by Family of Mandy and Richard Horne - Shetland

The family of Mandy and Richard Horne have asked Police, through their Family Liaison Officer, to let the media know they do not wish any intrusion on their grief at the funerals due to be held at Burra Public Hall, Hamnavoe on Friday 2 February.
They say that if the media feel they must attend they are asked to keep a discreet distance.
The funeral is expected to be well attended by both locals and representatives of the literary/art world in which Richard moved.
The media's understanding in relation to this matter is greatly appreciated by the family.
