Railway crossing collision

About 1130 hours on Tuesday 2nd January 2024, a collision occured at the middle
crossing, A862 Newton Road Dingwall, involving the 1052 Inverness to Kyle train and
a motor car.

The train had 7 passengers and driver on board,with the car having one female occupant.

No persons were injured and minor damage was sustained to the vehicle.

A report is to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal at Dingwall.
