Northern Constabulary dealing with ongoing incident in Lerwick, Shetland waters

NORTHERN Constabulary received a report that two protesters had attached themselves to an anchor on a drilling vessel to the north of Lerwick Harbour in Shetland shortly before 11:30 hours this morning.
Northern Constabulary is currently monitoring the situation and working with partner agencies to resolve the incident peacefully, whilst seeking to minimise any risk to anyone involved.
