Mountain Rescue - Glencoe

About 1550 hours on Monday 12 March 2024, Police in Fort William were notified that a male, who was in a party of four in the area of Coire Nan Lochan, Glencoe, had sustained a lower leg fracture.

Members of Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team, assisted by a Royal Naval helicopter from HMS Gannet attended. The male was airlifted from the hill and flown to the Belford Hospital in Fort William for treatment.

Details of the casualty are not being released to the press.
