Mountain Rescue - Glencoe

About 1400 hours on Sunday 11 March 2024, a 43 year old female hillwalker from the Edinburgh area injured her lower back whilst descending Lagangarbh Corrie on Buchaille Etive Mor in Glencoe. The female who was walking with her partner, fell and slipped about 30 feet.

14 members of the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team attended and quickly located the female on the "climbers path". She was carried off the hill on a stretcher and then taken by ambulance to the Belford Hospital in Fort William for treatment.

Details of the injured woman are not being released to the press.
