About 1405 hours on Friday 24th September 2026, a report was received at Police Station,Fort William regarding a female who had slipped whilst descending Ben Nevis.
Eleven members of Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team attended and with assistance from the Coastguard Helicopter the female was located and airlifted to safety.
The female was treated at the Belford Hospital ,Fort William for an ankle injury.
