(HOME MATCH)

Re the above sporting event which took place today - Sunday 28 January 2024:

During the course of the match, a total of five persons were arrested for offences including drunkenness, disorderly behaviour and assault.

A number of other persons were warned for similar offences and ejected from the Stadium by Police and Stewards.

The Police Match Commander, Superintendant David O'Connor stated after the match -

" Overall, I was happy with the behaviour of the vast majority of fans within the stadium. The approach by Police Officers, Stewards and officials from both clubs ensured that this high profile football match passed safely and without serious incident"
