Fatal Road Traffic Collision - A86 at Kingussie

About 2135 hours on Wednesday 31 January 2024, a one vehicle Road Traffic Collision occurred on the A86 between Kingussie and Newtonmore, Inverness-shire.
As a result of the collision, the passenger in the vehicle received fatal injuries. The driver is being treated for serious injuries at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. There is no update available as to the drivers condition.
Details of the deceased are not being released at this time, until next of kin have been informed.
