    Explosion - Inverness

    Police, fire and ambulance are currently attending a yard in Thornbush Road, Inverness following reports of an explosion in the area.

    The incident was reported at 12.24pm today. It's believed a container, which housed a number of detonators, exploded.

    Due to the explosion a number of the detonators landed in nearby gardens. The road has been closed whilst emergency services deal with the incident. Army explosives experts have been contacted and the road is likely to remain closed for a number of hours.

    A man has received minor injuries and is being treated at the scene.

    There are no further details at this time.
