Distraction Thefts

Between 0900 and 1020 hours on Saturday 27 January 2024 sums of cash were stolen from Post Offices in Portree and Kyle during distraction type thefts.

In relation to these incidents Police are keen to trace two males as follows:

Described as being of Eastern European or Middle Eastern appearance; about 5'6", aged approx late 20's.

One is of stocky build and was wearing a black leather jacket and patent leather shoes.

The second male may have had an eyebrow piercing.

Both males are thought to be travelling in the company of two females of Middle Eastern appearance and a baby.

They may be travelling in a silver saloon car, possibly a Lexus.
