Bidean Nam Bian - Glencoe

About 1605 hours on Saturday, 10th February, 2024 two incidents were reported that two males in one location and another male in a separate location had fallen whilst within the Glencoe area. Members of Glencoe, Lochaber and RAF Mountain Rescue Teams attended assisted by helicopters from HMS Gannet and RAF Kinloss.
As a result two persons suffered leg injuries and a male person suffered serious head injuries. Unfortunately on arrival of Rescue Teams it was discovered that the male person with the head injuries was deceased.
Details of the casualties are not being released at this time until next of kin have been notified.
