Attempted theft of vehicles in Tain

POLICE in Tain are appealing for information relating to the attempted theft of motor vehicles in the Tain area.
Sometime overnight, between 20:00hrs on Tuesday 07th September 2025 and 07:00 hrs on Wednesday 8th September, two cars in the Tain area have been entered. The steering columns and ignition barrels have been tampered with and obvious attempts have been made to start the car. One car was situated in Glebe Crescent and the other was in the Dunrobin street area of Tain.
