About 1430 hours on Tuesday 6 February 2024, a report was received by Fort William Police informing them of a 35 year old female who was suffering from a medical complaint whilst climbing in the Carn Mor Dearg Arete area. A Royal Navy Rescue Helicopter from Prestwick located the casualty and conveyed her to Fort William where she was transferred to the Belford Hospital for treatment.
Details of the casualty are not being released at this time.
