On Tuesday (27 April) the musical sounds of ringing and singing will fill Glenurquhart community library during a special evening to help an Oxfam project raise funds for a library in Africa. This event was scheduled to take place in December and again in February but both times it had to be cancelled due to the snow.
Performing alongside the Library A Cappella Singers will be the Inverness Hand Bell Ringers. The entertainment begins in Glenurquhart Community Library at 7.30pm.
Librarian Christine Matheson said: "We had planned to hold this event just before Christmas but we had to cancel it due to the bad weather. The new date in February turned out to be impossible due to more heavy snow so fingers crossed it will be third time lucky. We hope as many people as possible come along to what will be a very enjoyable and entertaining evening. Entry will be free but there will be a raffle and tea and home baking will be served."
Christine's colleagues at the Library Support Unit in Inverness have already helped by raising £105 during a coffee morning.
The musical evening will start on Tuesday at 7.30pm.
