Update - Fatal Road Collsion - Loch Eilt, Morar, Lochaber

Police can now confirm the details of the deceased following a double fatal road traffic collision on the A830 near to Loch Eilt, Morar, which occurred about 2200hrs on Tuesday 28th September.

Roderick Angus MacInnes, 21, Oakbank, Lochailort, fish farm technician.

Kirsty Bryden, 20, Craiglea, Lochailort, restaurant general assistant.

Family Liaison Officers have been appointed to provide support to both families at this extremely difficult time. No photographs or statements are being issued at present.

A full road collision investigation has been carried out by the Force's Road Policing Unit and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
