Thefts/Suspicious Activity - Inverness & Fort Augustus

Inverness Police are appealing for information on a number of incidents which were reported this weekend.

1. Between Fri 13th August and Sat 21st August, a "Honda" outboard motor was stolen from a boat moored in Inchnacardoch Bay at Fort Augustus . Police are anxious to speak to anyone who may have been in the area during the relevant period or who may have noticed any suspicious activity.

2. Between 1.30pm and 4.05pm yesterday (Saturday 21st August) a Vauxhall Corsa motor car was broken into and property stolen while it was parked unattended in a layby on the B862 road near Kilchumen House, Fort Augustus . Again police are anxious to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in that area.

3. Inverness police are seeking help from the public in identifying a car involved in suspicious activity at a building site in the Essich Gardens area of inverness about 9.20pm on Saturday 21st August when a vehicle and two men were seen. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious at that time or who may even have information on the possible identity of the two men.
