Theft - Bruce Gardens/Glenurquhart Road, Inverness

Police are appealing for witnesses after 20-year-old man had his phone stolen by a group of four men in the Bruce Gardens/Glenurquhart Road area of Inverness on Sunday (5 September 2010).

He was leaving an address in Bruce Gardens at around 2100 on Sunday and heading towards Glenurquhart Road when he was approached by four men in the area opposite Laidlaw's shop.

One of the men attempted to punch the victim while another stole his mobile phone. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.

The male who attempted to punch the victim is described as 22-23 years old and was wearing a black hooded top with a white Nike tick. The suspect who stole the phone is described as between 18 and 19 years old, wearing a black, zip-up style coat and has light, mousey brown hair. The other two men were also wearing dark clothing.
