Suspicious Vehicle - Mid Clyth, Lybster

Police are seeking to trace the driver of a Ford Mondeo which approached a female walking on the A99 at Mid Clyth, Lybster in the early hours of this morning (18 November 2010).

The female was walking between Wick and Lybster when the car pulled up beside her. The driver got out of the vehicle and spoke to the female. After a short conversation the car drove away. She was not injured.

The female said the man had what she described as a Manchester accent.

Police are appealing to the driver to come forward or anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time and may have seen the vehicle at around 2am to contact Police at Wick on 01955 603551.
