Shotgun Injury

About 1030hrs on Thursday 21st December 2024 a 35 year old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness suffering from shotgun wounds which she sustained at a hotel in Bonar Bridge. Her injuries are not thought to be serious, however she is to remain in hospital overnight for observations. A full police enquiry has been carried out and has established that there are no suspicious circumstances. A report on the circumstances will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
