Road Traffic Accident - Glencoe

About 0745 hours today, an articulated lorry was blown onto it's side by strong winds as it travelled south on the A82 road at White Corries, Glencoe.

The driver sustained lacerations to his head and grazing. He was conveyed by ambulance to the Belford Hospital in Fort William for treatment to his injuries.

The road was closed for a short time to allow recovery of the lorry.

Details of the driver are not being released at this time.
