Road Report - 1300 hours 27/11/10

The Northern Constabulary Force area continues to be affected by snow and low temperatures with the higher, exposed routes more affected. The following roads are closed due to snow ;

A939 Grantown on Spey to Tomintoul

B9007 Carrbridge to Ferness

The A95 and A95 in the Badenoch (Aviemore) area are particularly badly affected by snow at this time, and although still open are not advised.

All other roads across the Highlands and Islands remain open at this time but are affected by snow and ice.

Drivers should continue to exercise extreme care and check weather/road conditions before setting off.
