Police warn of Increased Traffic During Weekend Concerts at Cawdor Castle

Police are advising members of the public that there is expected to be increased volume of traffic in the Cawdor area on Friday and Saturday due to the concerts taking place in the castle grounds.

Members of the public not attending the events are asked to avoid the area and plan an alternative routes to minimise the disruption to their journeys.

It is expected to be particularly busy when people are travelling to and from each event. Times when it is expected to peak are on Friday before 18:00 hours and after 22:30 hours and on Saturday before 17:00 hours and after 22:00 hours.

Those attending the events are advised that there will be no parking in the village of Cawdor but there will be a designated parking area in the vicinity of the event. Attendees are also advised to expect delays going to and from the event and they should leave enough travel time on either side of the concerts.
