Police Reissue Advice on Sneak in Thefts

Police in Inverness are reissuing their appeal to members in the public to keep their properties safe and to be mindful of people posing as business peopleto gain entry totheir homes.

In particular Police are keen to speak to anyone who has any information about a man in the Balnacraig Road area on Saturday night.

It is believed this man approached an individual at his home around 21:30 hours posing as a businessman. He is described as being in his late 20's to early 30's and was wearing a light coloured knitted cardigan.

Northern Constabulary would like to remind members of the public to always check for identification if they are approached at their home and if unsure of an individual's credentials, are urged to not let them enter their property.
