Police begin poster campaign to try and trace Staffordshire missing person - John Howard Binsley

Issued: 1 Oct 2024

Northern Constabulary today rolled out a poster campaign in a fresh attempt to trace Staffordshire missing person John Howard Binsley (59).

Police are growing increasingly concerned for Mr Binsley's safety and wellbeing. He has not been seen since Sunday 19 September when he is believed to have made his way to the Fort William area.

It is also thought he may have been camping in Fort William or Inverness.

He is white, of medium build, with short greying hair and is approximately 5ft 10in. He may now have a beard.

Police will distribute posters at various prominent public locations such as bus and railway stations and shopping centres in Inverness and Fort William. They will also be put up in Fort Augustus.

Anyone who sees this man is urged contact their local Police station or call Force HQ on 0845 6005703.
