Police arrest a 25-year-old man in connection with a sneak-in type theft in Inverness

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a sneak-in theft in the Dalneigh area of Inverness last night.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in Inverness and he is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday 6 September.

The public should be reassured that this is the third person Police have arrested this week in relation to this type of crime.

Members of the public are reminded to take reasonable security precautions and ensure their windows and doors are locked through the night and during the day if they are out and about. Don't give opportunist criminals a window of opportunity.
