Police appeal for information with regards two theft related incidents - Inverness

About 2010 on Monday 27 July 2010 a man attempted to steal a bag from a woman who was crossing the Infirmary footbridge in Inverness.

The woman was not injured and the assailant did not obtain the bag. He ran off in the direction of Eden Court Theatre.

There were a number of people in the area of the bridge at this time.

A short time before a man stole a charity box from a shop in the Haugh area and it is suspected that both incidents are linked.

The man is described as 6ft, of slim build and was wearing a black hooded top and jeans.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 0845 600 5703 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
