Northern Constabulary Road Report 2nd December 2024 1145 hours

Issued: 2 Dec 2024

Roads in the Northern Constabulary force Area continue to be affected by snow and ice. With the exception of the following;

B9007 Glenferness - Carrbridge (remains closed due to snow)

all roads are open.

As expected the higher, more exposed routes are more severely affected. A widespread, severe frost is forecast overnight and this increases the risk of icy surfaces deveveloping. Drivers should continue to exercise extreme care, checking weather/road conditions before setting off.

Up to date information on the condition of roads throughout the Highlands and the rest of Scotland can be obtained from Traffic Scotland:-
