Northern Constabulary - Road Report 0615hrs 01/12/10

Issued: 1 Dec 2010

The Northern Constabulary force area continues to be affected by snow and low temperatures throughout today.

The B9007 Glenferness - Carrbridge road remains closed due to snow.

All remaining routes are open and continue to be treated, with some roads still being affected by hard packed snow and icy patches.

As expected the higher, more exposed routes are more severely affected and drivers should continue to exercise extreme care, checking weather/road conditions before setting off.

Up to date information on the condition of roads throughout the Highlands and the rest of Scotland can be obtained from Traffic Scotland:-
