Mountain Rescue - Lochaber

About 1625 hours, Wednesday 7th February 2007, Fort William police received a report of a 26 year old male who had injured his ankle whilst walking in the area of Allt a Mhuilinn, Ben Nevis.

8 members of the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team attended along with an RAF helicopter from Lossiemouth and assisted the male off the mountain, from where he was conveyed to Belford Hospital, Fort William.

The male, who does not wish his details to be made public, was released from hospital following treatment.
