Mountain Rescue - Cairngorm

On Monday 18th October 2024 Following a report of overdue hill walkers in the Cairngorm Mountains . Members of Cairngorm and RAF Kinloss mountain rescue teams along with a Sea King helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth commenced a search of the area.
The party consisting of 3 males and a female all in their 20’s, who were well equipped and experienced mountaineers, were soon located safe and well.
This appears to have been a misunderstanding as to the parties intended return time from their walk.
