Mountain Rescue - Cairngorm

About 1400 hours yesterday - Saturday, 24 March, 2007 - a 45 year old male and a 31 year old female from Errol, Perthshire, were airlifted off Coire An Lochain, Cairngorm, by RAF helicopter - assisted by members of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team - after falling about 20 metres during a roped ice climb.

Both were conveyed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and discharged after treatment to minor injuries.
