Missing Shetland man may be in Aberdeen

POLICE in Shetland are currently carrying out a missing person enquiry in relation to Darren Priest, a 25 year old man who resides in Lerwick.

Darren is believed to have travelled to Aberdeen by ferry and was last seen exiting the Northlink ferry at Aberdeen harbour on the morning of Tuesday 22nd September 2024.

Darren Priest is described as being approximately 5’ 7” tall, medium build, blue eyes with short receding brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black/grey trousers or tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Police are appealing for any person who may have seen Darren Priest, after Tuesday 22nd September 2024 to make contact with Lerwick Police Station on 01595 692110.

If Darren Priest becomes aware that police are making attempts to trace him, he is asked to contact police and his family who are concerned for his well being.
