MISSING PERSON, KINGUSSIE

Police are concerned for the welfare of a 71 year old male, John Phillips, missing from the Kingussie area. He was last seen about 5pm on Wednesday 29th September. Mr Phillips is infirm and unsteady on his feet. After a recent fall he suffered a shoulder injury which required medical attention.

Mr Phillips is of unkempt appearance and is described as white european, slim build, about 5 foot 9 inches tall, with a well spoken english accent. He has greying/white collar length hair and a greying beard. He was last seen wearing a green Parker style jacket, grey trousers and dark coloured boots. He was carrying a small dark coloured nylon rucksack.

Police at Aviemore are appealing for sightings of Mr Phillips and if anyone fitting his description is seen that they be contacted on 01479 810222 or 01463 715555.
