House Fire - Alness

About 1800 hours on Saturday, 23rd December, 2024, Police attended the report of a house fire in Salvesen Crescent, Alness.
Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance attended and the fire was extinguished. Sadly as a result of this fire an elderly female, believed to be one of the occupants of the house, received fatal injuries.
A Police and Fire investigation is to be carried out and at present enquiries are ongoing.
No further details are being released at this time until next of kin have been traced and informed.
