Drug Seizure in the Nairn area

TWO PEOPLE TO APPEAR AT INVERNESS SHERIFF COURT ON ALLEGED DRUG DEALING OFFENCES

Police have recovered illegal drugs with a street value of around £4000 following the search of a vehicle in the Nairn area at the weekend.

Officers seized a large quantity of drugs in the early hours of Sunday, including substances believed to be amphetamine, ecstasy and cannabis.

A 24-year-old man and a 19-year-old man are due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court this morning in relation to alleged drug-dealing offences.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
