Death - Dingwall

Emergency Services have been in attendance at the death of a man in Dingwall today.

Police were notified by a member of the public shortly before 09:00 hours this morning (10 September 2010) following their discovery of a man's body on the mud flats on Ferry Road in Dingwall.

Northern Constabulary officers attended with HIFRS and HMS Coastguard, but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are currently contacting next of kin and are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding his death, but there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this stage.
