Coastal Incident - Thurso

About 1910 hours, 13/9/10, Police received a report of a male on the cliffs by Victoria Walk, Thurso. He subsequently ended up at the base of the cliffs. Police, ambulance, Scrabster Coastguard team, Thurso RNLI lifeboat and RAF rescue helicopter 'Rescue 137' attended. The male was winched from the scene by the helicopter and taken to hospital for treatment.

No details of the male are being released at this time.
